Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs in Python and/or Java
• Build and operate microservices within containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Integrate with GCP-native services including Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, and Cloud SQL
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and AI teams to build data-serving APIs and platform services
• Participate in code reviews, sprint ceremonies, and architecture discussions
• Ensure PCI-DSS compliance and security best practices within payment-adjacent systems
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and infrastructure-as-code practices

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years (Intermediate) or 5+ years (Specialist) of backend software development experience
• Proficiency in Python and/or Java for production-grade services
• Experience With RESTful API Design And Microservices Architecture
• Familiarity with cloud-native development on GCP or equivalent cloud platform
• Working knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
