Job summary

NucleusTeq is seeking a seasoned backend developer in the United States to design and implement Java-based microservices using Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem. You will build robust REST services, implement security with OAuth/JWT/SSO, and drive distributed architecture across multi-tier systems.

The role requires 4–6 years of hands-on experience with Spring Framework, Hibernate ORM, and container-based deployments.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience building microservices and multi-tier distributed systems.
• Knowledge of SDLC processes and iterative design.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Hibernate ORM experience.
• Security: OAuth, JWT, SSO.
• Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes.
• Experience with an API gateway.

Key Qualifications:

• 4 - 6 years of backend development experience with Java, Spring Boot stack, REST Services, Spring Framework, AOP, Spring Transactions, Spring Security & JPA
• Understanding and strong practice with development of Microservices and Multi Tiered Distributed Architecture
• Knowledge of SDLC processes and tools, Iterative Design & Prototyping
• Hands on Experience working with databases - SQL/NoSQL
• Hibernate/ORM
• Auth/Security - OAUTH, JWT, SSO
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
• Working knowledge of CI/CD
