Job summary

Charles Schwab Corporation seeks a Software Engineer to join the Contact Center Technology team on-site in Texas. You will develop scalable Java applications using Spring and Spring Boot, build REST APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional partners in a fast-paced Agile environment.

You will implement automated tests, contribute to design and documentation, and support deployments while growing within a collaborative, security-minded engineering culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience with Java and the Spring Framework.
• Experience with Spring Boot, RESTful web services, and enterprise application development.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, debugging, and software design principles.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with automated testing, Git, Bamboo, and CI/CD practices.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD concepts.
• Ability to complete tasks and collaborate within a team.
• Exposure to PCF or another cloud application platform.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, MongoDB or other NoSQL databases, and messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

Responsibilities
