Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies is seeking a Java Developer for a 7-month contract, working in a hybrid model across Plano, TX and McLean, VA. You will design and implement cloud-based solutions, leveraging Java/Spring Boot, AWS services, and modern data stores to deliver robust capabilities.

The role requires 4+ years of software engineering, with strong REST, DevOps, and Agile skills, and a preference for candidates with a Master’s degree or experience in AI tooling to accelerate productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 4+ years of professional software engineering experience; 1+ year cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in Java with Spring Boot; REST API design; AWS services (S3, IAM, RDS, Glue, Lambda, CloudWatch, OpenSearch).
• Experience with DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodologies.
• Preferred: Master's degree and 7+ years in Java/Spark/Python/Go/Node.js; AI tooling experience.

Job Title: Java Developer

Location: Hybrid in Plano, TX and Mclean, VA

Duration: 7 Months

Job Description: What You’ll Do:

Collaborate with digital product managers, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of Americans achieve financial empowerment

Utilize programming languages like Java, Springboot, AWS, Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS tools and services
