Job summary

Zifo is seeking a hands-on Java developer with strong business analysis skills to configure, implement, and support laboratory informatics solutions. The role focuses on translating business requirements into actionable Jira stories and user stories while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Experience in laboratory informatics or LIMS is preferred.
• Experience with Jira and writing user stories.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree (or equivalent).

Hands-on technical role focused on Java development and business analysis in laboratory informatics solutions. The role involves configuring, implementing, and supporting solutions, writing Jira stories, and collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and support software solutions using Java
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into Jira stories and user stories
• Assist in solution design, implementation, and integration within customer environments
• Ensure solutions function as designed and meet customer expectations
• On-site 3–4 days/week
• Collaborate with internal teams and third-party partners to deliver projects on time
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of hands-on Java development experience (required)
• Laboratory informatics or LIMS experience preferred
• Agilent SLIMS experience is a plus
• Experience with business analysis, Jira, and story writing
