Job summary

Virtusa in the United States seeks a senior Java developer with strong application development experience in an Agile environment. You will design, code, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Core Java, J2EE, XML, and Web Services.

The role involves building RESTful microservices, leveraging Spring Boot, JPA, MQ, and AWS, plus hands-on CI/CD with Git/Bitbucket, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, and Kubernetes for production deployments.

Qualifications

• Strong application development work experience in an Agile environment.
• Experience with JUnit and Cucumber testing.
• Experience with APM monitoring tools and Splunk.
• Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence.
• Develop Core Java/J2EE, XML, Web Services or SOA using Java frameworks.
• Develop RESTful microservices with Spring (Boot/Batch), JPA, MQ and AWS.
• Hands-on CI/CD with Git/Bitbucket, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins for production deployments.
• Kubernetes experience.
