This full-time permanent position is headquartered at the Hill Farms State Office Building on the nearwest side of Madison, WI and allows the option to work remotely up to 5 days per week . All employees are generally expected to be headquartered and work within the State of Wisconsin. This position will provide leadership to IT professionals on the adaptation and use of Java development tools and methods. Assignments made by the Area Supervisor or Project Leader involve working with various DOT business areas to develop solutions with many complex variablesand alsohelp in modernizing the framework of our existing applications.
This position is in schedule-range (07-33) with an annual salary of $79,040 - $112,320 (or $38 - $54 per hour), plus excellent benefits . A twelve-month probationary period is required. Pay for current state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan.
