Job summary

Randstad is seeking a backend engineer in Los Angeles to design and optimize server-side services using Spring MVC, build RESTful APIs, and work with NoSQL databases like Cassandra.

You will improve performance by tuning the JVM, explore distributed caching with Hazelcast/Redis, and apply NLP/ML techniques. Knowledge of SOLR/Elasticsearch and open source contributions are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience with NLP and Machine Learning projects.
• Proven ability to work in Agile teams and deliver on time.
• Experience with high-volume, scalable backend services.
• Strong JVM performance tuning knowledge.

Responsibilities
