Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Java Developer in Jersey City to design and build scalable microservices and RESTful APIs. You will work with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and security layers, while integrating frontend tech like ReactJS/Angular and TypeScript.

You will engage with containers and cloud platforms ( Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift, AWS/Azure ) and contribute to CI/CD pipelines, data optimization, and DevOps practices. Strong knowledge of OAuth2/JWT/SSO is valued.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Java 8/11/17 and Spring stack.
• Experience building microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Frontend experience with ReactJS/Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5/CSS3.
• Kafka, JMS or event-driven architectures.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL; query optimization.
• Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• CI/CD pipelines with Git, Jenkins, Maven, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Authentication/authorization with OAuth2, JWT, and SSO.
• Agile/Scrum and DevOps practices.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Strong experience in Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Hibernate/JPA.
• Expertise in developing Microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with ReactJS/Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
• Strong knowledge of Kafka, JMS, or event-driven architectures.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and query optimization.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, Maven, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience implementing authentication and authorization using OAuth2, JWT, and SSO.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.

Salary Range- $100,000-$110,000 a year
