Job description

Our Java Developer role rewards the feedback-hungry habit of writing the test before you trust the feature, especially around Ruby on Rails. Net it out: hybrid, $51,000 - $77,000, 1 years, ownership of the technology outcome, and a CloudTech Solutions team that has your back.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate the high-trust Collaboration outage into fixes that make the next Jacksonville launch dull
• Tune Next.js queries until the FL database stops timing out under load
• Scale data pipelines processing millions of events with Ruby on Rails
• Configure and manage infrastructure as code across staging and production
• Replace the brittle Next.js hack with a PHP solution that survives Jacksonville scale
• Translate a napkin idea from CloudTech Solutions founders into a Ruby on Rails heads-down-and-happy prototype

What You'll Bring

• Equal parts Next.js depth and PHP curiosity
• The communication discipline to over-share early and trim later
• Junior-caliber judgment about when to upscale and when to absorb
• The patience to mentor without taking over the keyboard
• Fluency across PHP and Rust, with strong opinions on both

Run from a single floor in Jacksonville, FL, CloudTech Solutions is an unfussy reminder that technology breakthroughs still start small. At CloudTech Solutions the org chart is flat enough that good ideas don't need a passport to travel.

Land here and your reward starts at $51,000 - $77,000, then climbs alongside the mentorship, flexible hours, and benefits we keep stacking on top.

This opening is current to the minute and openly recruiting today.
