Job summary

Robotics Technologies LLC in Dallas seeks an experienced Java Developer to design, build, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and microservices. You will troubleshoot production issues in a fast-paced environment and own incidents from identification through resolution.

You will support RESTful APIs, tune performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software. This role emphasizes ownership, documentation, and RCA-driven fixes.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Experience supporting RESTful APIs and distributed applications.
• Understanding of JVM internals, GC, threading, and performance tuning.
• SQL experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• SQL skills for troubleshooting, debugging, and data analysis.
• Experience in Linux/Unix and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of Tomcat, JBoss, or WebSphere.
• Experience with Kafka, JMS, or MQ messaging.
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change).
• Ticketing: ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy.
• Root cause analysis and permanent fixes.
• Ownership of production incidents and resolution.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and Microservices to support and maintain enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience troubleshooting production issues, supporting RESTful APIs and distributed systems, optimizing application performance, and managing major incidents in a fast‑paced environment.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience with Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Experience supporting RESTful APIs and distributed applications.
• Strong understanding of JVM internals, Garbage Collection, thread management, and performance tuning.
• Hands‑on experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Strong SQL skills for troubleshooting, debugging, and data analysis.
• Experience working in Linux/Unix environments and writing shell scripts.
• Knowledge of application servers such as Tomcat, JBoss, or WebSphere.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, JMS, or MQ.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
• Experience with application monitoring and observability tools.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.

• Strong ownership of production issues, incident resolution, and service restoration.
• Experience preparing technical documentation, incident reports, and support handover documents.
