Job summary

Techaxis, Inc. in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Java Developer with Angular and AI expertise to design, build, and enhance scalable, enterprise-grade applications. You will drive AI-powered features, performance optimizations, and end-to-end delivery while mentoring peers.

The role requires a strong background in Java/J2EE, Angular, TypeScript, and GenAI, plus experience with cloud, DevOps, and security practices. This is a full-time, on-site position in Charlotte.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience.
• Strong skills in Java/J2EE, Angular, TypeScript, and AI.
• Experience building modular, high-performance enterprise applications with reusable components, RxJS, state management, and responsive interfaces.
• Experience in solution architecture and technical design, translating business needs into scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
• Hands-on experience with AI/GenAI, including LLM integration, AI/GenAI APIs, prompt engineering, RAG, and AI-powered features.
• Experience with database design and development, SQL, data modeling, complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning using Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar databases.
• Experience with cloud and DevOps technologies, including AWS or Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Maven or Gradle.
• Experience with application security and quality engineering, including Spring Security, OAuth2/JWT, JUnit, Mockito, automated testing, code reviews, and secure coding practices.
• Experience in performance optimization, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Technical leadership experience, including architecture and design reviews, developer mentoring, technical estimation, stakeholder collaboration, and end-to-end delivery ownership.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, Green Card holder, or GC-EAD holder.
