The Java Developer will support the modernization of a pharmacy technology ecosystem by migrating existing workflows to cloud-based platforms.
This role focuses on building scalable, resilient services using modern Java technologies and event-driven architectures, while collaborating closely with architects and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Modernize and enhance components of the pharmacy technology ecosystem.
- Migrate existing application workflows to cloud environments.
- Design and implement asynchronous data processing and cloud-based service interactions.
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Implement event-driven solutions using messaging platforms such as Kafka.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure application stability following changes.
- Collaborate with solution architects on technical design, code reviews, and best practices.
- Validate cloud deployments and support release activities.
- Participate in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Approximately 6+ years of professional experience in Java application development.
- Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Hands‑on experience working in cloud environments.
- Experience implementing asynchronous processing and distributed system interactions.
- Experience with messaging or streaming technologies such as Kafka.
- Experience performing regression testing and validating application changes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within cross‑functional engineering teams.
