Java Backend Developer – Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a Java Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable server-side applications. You’ll work on APIs, databases, and system integrations that power web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java and frameworks like Spring Boot
• Design and build RESTful APIs
• Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
• Implement business logic, data processing, and system integrations
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the backend stack
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and product teams
• Optimize application performance and scalability
• Participate in code reviews and follow best practices

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Core Java (OOP, Collections, Multithreading)
