Job summary

Cymertek seeks a Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain Java applications, leveraging AWS cloud services and Linux environments. The role emphasizes scalable, reliable systems and cross-functional collaboration to translate requirements into robust software solutions.

You should have a strong Java background, experience with AWS services, and familiarity with Docker. The team values proactive problem solving, code quality, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced federal contracting

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Java development in enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda).
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and scripting.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and database interactions (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with containerization and DevOps practices is a plus.
