Job summary

Everest Technologies is seeking an experienced engineer to migrate Java services to C#/.NET, ensuring parity with the original Java implementations. You will map Spring to ASP.NET Core and JPA/Hibernate to EF/Dapper, preserving REST endpoints and service contracts.

Qualifications

Deep, current Java development experience (8+ years).
Strong C#/.NET expertise (5+ years) including .NET Core / .NET 6+ and ASP.NET Core Web APIs.
Proven ability to migrate/port code between Java and C# with parity proof via tests.
Experience shipping production code in both languages within recent years.
Familiarity with mapping Java constructs to .NET equivalents and preserving service contracts.

Responsibilities

Migrate Java services to C#/.NET, using AI drafts as a starting point and finishing by hand.
Convert Spring patterns to ASP.NET Core, JPA/Hibernate to EF or Dapper, Maven to NuGet.
Preserve REST endpoints, payloads, error handling, and config behavior post-migration.
Review AI-converted output for correctness, edge cases, and parity with the Java source.
Write or port tests to prove functional parity before and after migration.
