Job summary

CBTS is seeking a Software Engineer for a contract on-site in the United States. You will design application code, implement technical solutions, and enable containerized deployments across environments.

Strong Java/Springboot skills and experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes are required. You will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable, modernized applications and participate in all phases of software engineering.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in application development with Java and Spring/Springboot.
• AWS experience required.
• Knowledge of containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience designing and implementing software solutions for complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Design application code, implement technical solutions, and configure applications in various environments.
• Write applications to solve analytical problems and support data workflows.
• Perform all phases of software engineering: requirements, design, coding, testing.
• Design features including reusable components, frameworks and libraries.
• Containerize customer applications and work with strategic customers on deployments.
• Develop best practices for containerizing and modernizing platforms.
