Job summary

Stellar Technologies is seeking a Java Developer to design and build backend services and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot. You will break features into well-structured microservices and collaborate on system design with a distributed team.

You should bring hands-on Java 11+, Spring, and a solid grasp of microservices, REST, and database work (PostgreSQL/Oracle/MySQL). This role supports fully remote work and requires English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with Java 11+ and the Spring ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
• Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle or MySQL.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker and at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Comfortable working in Agile environments and distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Decompose features into microservices and contribute to system design.
• Write unit and integration tests and maintain healthy code coverage.
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases, write efficient queries and optimize performance.
• Integrate with third-party systems, message queues and internal services.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning and production support as needed.
