Job summary

Qualifications

• Expertise with Java/J2EE and Spring Boot; hands-on Kotlin experience.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and working with JSON and web service technologies.
• Strong knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) including Oracle/DB2, Cassandra, Couchbase.
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD tools (Selenium, REST Assured, Cucumber, Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, Git).
• Familiarity with Agile tools (JIRA/Rally) and software testing standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services and APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, architect solutions, and implement features.
• Optimize backend systems for performance, scalability, and reliability under high load.
• Implement code quality, testing, and deployment automation best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to improve engineering practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement lasting fixes.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and evaluate new tools and frameworks.
• Collaborate with DevOps to deploy and manage backend services in cloud environments.
