Job summary

BCforward is seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer in Wilmington, DE, to design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test solutions. The role emphasizes Java-based automation, API testing, and integration with CI/CD pipelines in Agile environments.

You will collaborate with development, product, and QA teams to ensure high-quality software delivery and support continuous testing across platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software testing or QA automation.
• Hands-on with Java-based automation frameworks.
• API automation testing with Playwright, Rest Assured, Selenium.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver and Cucumber BDD.
• Familiar with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven, Git).
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Python knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
• Build and execute automated API test suites.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze results and work with devs to resolve defects.
• Enhance coverage, reliability, and efficiency.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies.
