We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Java Architect to define, develop, and integrate our company's software architecture. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and high-performance systems that support our current and future Java-based applications. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, provide technical guidance, and ensure that our solutions align with business goals and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Architecture: Lead the design and architecture of complex, large‑scale Java‑based applications and microservices, ensuring systems are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to development teams, conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Collaboration and Requirements: Work closely with stakeholders, including business leaders and product owners, to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions and high‑level design documents.
  • Troubleshooting and Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks, design flaws, and complex system issues, implementing solutions to build resilient systems.
  • Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and technologies to ensure the company stays current with emerging industry trends.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical diagrams and documentation for architectural decisions and system designs.
  • CI/CD and DevOps: Support the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices.
Required Qualifications and Skills

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is typically required. Candidates should have extensive experience in software development with a strong focus on Java, often 7-10+ years, including prior experience as an architect.

Essential technical skills include proficiency in Java SE/EE and frameworks like Spring and Hibernate, a strong understanding of software architecture principles and microservices, experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, and familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

Key soft skills encompass excellent problem‑solving abilities, strong communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences, and proven leadership and project management capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Desired qualifications may include experience with API gateways and security protocols like OAuth or JWT, relevant certifications (e.g., OCP, TOGAF), and experience integrating AI/ML into Java systems.
