Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and microservices
• Develop, debug, and maintain code in a large corporate environment
• Participate in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Contribute to the full Software Development Life Cycle
• Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines, application resiliency, and security practices
• Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools effectively for coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation, with ability to critically evaluate and refine AI-generated outputs
• Apply responsible AI practices in engineering workflows, including secure handling of data and adherence to security and resiliency standards

Qualifications

• Required
  • 3+ years of experience programming in Java
  • Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Proficiency in coding in one or more programming languages
  • Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with modern programming languages and database querying languages
  • Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile)
  • Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools with demonstrated ability to critically evaluate, validate, and refine AI-generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security
  • Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations
