Job summary

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control in Orlando, FL seeks an Electrical Engineer to join the Hardware Engineering team. You will lead hardware design, troubleshoot, oversee suppliers, and provide production support on defense programs for missiles and sensors.

Responsibilities include creating schematics, PCB layouts, wiring harnesses, testing, and root-cause analysis. A BS in Electrical Engineering, experience with schematic capture tools, and a secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (or enrolled in a degree program).
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
• Experience with simulation tools such as LTspice, PSpice, Simulink, MATLAB.
• Familiarity with test equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, function generator, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical contact across development and production for subsystems or hardware deliverables.
• Provide guidance to subsystem suppliers to ensure contract requirements and specs are met.
• Lead yield investigations, root-cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.
• Create and iterate electrical schematics, PCB layouts, wiring harnesses, and interconnects.
• Perform electrical testing, FPGA verification, and packaging reviews to maintain schedule.
• Document test results, troubleshooting steps, and compliance with standards.
