Job summary

AJ Tutoring is seeking a Japanese teacher for 1-on-1 sessions at our Bay Area offices. Pay is competitive ($35-$40/hr) with training and supportive staff. Flexibility exists for part-time or full-time schedules, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

• Work at AJ Tutoring through the end of the 2026/27 academic year.

Great Japanese teachers must:

• Master Japanese 1 and 2 plus a second academic subject at the high school level (Pre-Calculus or Calculus, Physics, Computer Science, English, History, Biology, Chemistry, or study skills)
• Commit to a minimum of 15 tutoring hours per week with a few additional hours of administrative work
• Tutor during after-school hours, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends
• Work at AJ Tutoring through the end of the 2026/27 academic year
