QUICK USA in Franklin, KY seeks a bilingual Japanese/English Data Entry & Translator to support expatriate coordination, on-site interpretation, and production data reporting.
The role covers translation of technical docs, data entry, and recurring Kaizen-related reporting. Requires fluent English/Japanese, strong Excel skills, and ERP experience; on-site work with occasional travel.
[ Position ]
Provide interpretation during on-site/off-site meetings and on the production floor.
Translate technical and general documents.
Assist expatriates and their families with U.S. transition needs (housing, medical appointments, banking, government documentation).
Maintain and set up translation equipment; support plant tours and VIP visits.
Prepare recurring reports (Monthly QASPAS, Labor/Scrap Reports, INFOR Hung Entries, MFG Database Updates, Manning & Scratch Budgets).
Collect cross-departmental data for company-wide Kaizen Reports.
Maintain physical/electronic production records in compliance with IATF and JSOX requirements.
Assist in budget preparation, inventory data submissions, and routine report audits.
Native-level or fluent in English and Japanese (spoken and written).
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Japanese, or related field preferred.
Prior experience in technical Japanese/English translation and interpretation required.
Experience working in a manufacturing or data entry environment preferred.
Intermediate to advanced MS Excel and data management skills.
Experience using ERP systems (e.g., INFOR) preferred.
