Automation Personnel Services is seeking a highly detail-oriented Janitorial Technician to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our semiconductor manufacturing cleanroom environment for a Sugar Land, Texas site. Responsibilities include cleaning, organizing, stocking, and waste removal across offices and some production facilities.

Pay rate is $16.50 an hour with a Monday – Friday schedule 8:00 am – 4:30 PM.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 6+ months of porter experience preferred.
• Familiar with cleaning and sanitizing techniques.
• Flexible with working hours and be punctual.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work under minimal to moderate supervision.
• Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs is required.
• Exposure to heat, vibration, and hazardous conditions; PPE may be required.

Responsabilités

• Clean buildings by emptying trash, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning surfaces as assigned.
• Properly use cleaning solutions and chemicals with PPE to remove stains and clean surfaces.
• Operate indoor floor scrubber machines when necessary.
• Clean parking lot areas, walkways, entryways, and hallways.
• Follow SOP for removal of garbage, recycling, and production waste.
• Respond to other cleaning-related issues in a timely manner.
• Water plants according to schedules.
• Inspect and stock supplies in break rooms, bathrooms and common areas.
• Detect and report unsafe conditions to supervision.
• Cross-train on other duties as assigned.

Janitorial TechnicianDuties and Responsibilities

• Detect and report defective materials or unsafe working conditions to the supervisor.
• Cross-trainon other duties orareas asassigned bysupervisor.

Janitorial TechnicianQualifications and Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 6 + months ofporterexperienceispreferred

• Ability to multi-task and work underminimal to moderate supervision
• Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signsis required.
• Subject to extreme heat. Temperatures above 100 for periods of more than one hour.
• Subject to vibration. Exposure to movements of the extremities or whole body.
• Subject to hazards. Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, exposure to high heat, or exposure to chemicals.
• Upon occasion, the associate may be exposed to a manufacturing environment and required to wear personal protective equipment.
