Job summary

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, seeks a Janitorial Technician to perform custodial and industrial cleaning at customer locations. You will be a representative of HPC-Industrial, promoting safety and reliability while supporting clients and transitioning military skills to civilian life.

The role involves cleaning various facilities, maintaining a safe work environment, and opportunities for growth within a safety-conscious, service-driven team.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area and follow safety policies at all times.
  • Clean plant areas including shop floor, docks, washrooms, offices and parking areas.
  • Restock washrooms, manage spills and garbage disposal.
  • Operate power equipment as needed to vacuum, sweep and transport.
  • Assist with occasional groundwork and snow removal and handle special cleaning projects.

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors is looking for a Janitorial Technician to work at customer locations, and to join their safety conscious team! This team member perform custodial and industrial cleaning work in offices, industrial areas and other incidental tasks as assigned. The Janitorial Technician serves as representative of HPC-Industrial in creating a continuous working relationship with clients/customers. Transitioning Military, this is a great opportunity to leverage your skills and training as you return to civilian life.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Ensure work area maintained in a neat and orderly manner.
  • Attend all compliance and safety update meetings.
  • Clean all plant areas including but not limited to, the shop floor, docks, washrooms, offices, cubicles, meeting areas, cafeterias, locker rooms, outdoor areas and parking lots.
  • Restock washrooms, clean up spills and remove garbage.
  • May require use of power equipment to vacuum, sweep, polish, and transport, among others.
  • May include groundwork and/or minor snow removal.
  • Special cleaning projects as required by the customer.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Language proficiency: understand English at a level to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions in emergency situations;
  • Attention to detail.
  • Able to take and follow direction.
  • Able to perform multiple tasks.
