Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. seeks a dedicated Janitorial team member to maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment at our Houston facility.

Responsibilities include cleaning production areas, offices, restrooms, break rooms, and storage spaces to support safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a GED or high school diploma, janitorial experience in industrial settings, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred in industrial or manufacturing settings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods.
• Knowledge of safe chemical handling and cleaning procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and scrub production floors to remove dust, debris, and spills.
• Empty trash bins, recycling containers, and scrap material receptacles.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, and break areas.
• Wipe down machinery exteriors, workbenches, and high-touch surfaces without interfering with production.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed.
• Operate floor scrubbers, vacuums, and other cleaning equipment safely.
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and PPE usage.
• Assist with minor facility upkeep such as replacing light bulbs or reporting maintenance needs.
• Support special cleaning projects during plant shutdowns or maintenance periods.
