Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking a reliable janitorial associate to maintain a clean and safe production environment in our facility. You will perform floor cleaning, restroom sanitation, and routine upkeep while ensuring compliance with safety procedures.

The role emphasizes dependability, physical stamina, and the ability to work independently on a manufacturing floor. Prior custodial experience in industrial settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in janitorial or custodial work is preferred, especially in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Knowledge of safe chemical handling and cleaning procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and scrub production floors to remove dust, debris, and spills.
• Empty trash bins, recycling containers, and scrap material receptacles.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, and break areas.
• Wipe down machinery exteriors, workbenches, and high‑touch surfaces (without interfering with production processes).
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed.
• Operate floor scrubbers, vacuums, and other cleaning equipment safely.
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and PPE usage.
• Assist with minor facility upkeep such as replacing light bulbs or reporting maintenance needs.
• Support special cleaning projects during plant shutdowns or maintenance periods.
