Job summary

GDI Ainsworth in Bismarck, ND is seeking a janitorial supervisor to oversee, train, and direct on-site staff, ensuring safety and that the customer’s quality expectations are met or exceeded.

You will design shifts, assign work, monitor performance, and report to management. The role requires attention to detail, independent judgment, and high integrity.

This position follows Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm and involves enforcing safety policies and coordinating with HR.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of janitorial supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to show judgment and to work independently.
• High integrity required.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise the work of the janitorial staff in the building.
• Designate shift and area work assignments.
• Manage employee relations or performance issues quickly and appropriately. Document and report to management or HR.
• Oversee daily clock-in/out procedures.
• Inspect the jobsite regularly to identify any quality concerns or project work needed; complete and submit inspection reports.
• Identify and communicate the need for any special project work to management.
• Respond quickly and appropriately to all customer concerns or complaints.
• Enforce all safety policies and procedures; immediately report and investigate accidents.
• Complete training courses as required
• Perform other assigned duties to support operations
