Job summary

Diversified Maintenance in Biloxi is hiring a Janitorial Supervisor to coordinate cleaning and maintenance for commercial facilities. You will supervise a team and ensure standards, safety, and quality across shifts in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires at least a high school diploma or equivalent and prior janitorial supervisory experience, with strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Monday through Friday, full-time with weekly pay and a $13/hour wage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of three (3) years of verifiable work history.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in the janitorial industry.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to workers, and inspect completed work for conformance to standards
• Issues supplies and equipment
• Resolve workers' problems or refers matters to the Manager
• Perform the duties of workers supervised
• Directly supervise the performance outcomes of 2 to 50 janitorial service employees
• Assist in training employees
• Plan, assign, and direct work
• Provide feedback for managers to effectively appraise employee performance
• Address customer complaints and resolves problems
• Collaborate with employees and perform related duties as a Working Supervisor
