Job summary

Ancient City Janitorial LLC (ServiceMaster Clean) in Jacksonville, FL seeks a motivated Janitorial Supervisor to lead cleaning crews. This hands-on leadership role organizes shifts, trains staff, and ensures tasks meet ServiceMaster standards.

The supervisor will monitor performance, provide feedback, respond to customer requests, and maintain safety and OSHA compliance. Evening schedule Tue-Sat, 4pm-10pm, with occasional longer hours to cover vacancies; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to supervise and train cleaning staff.
• Must be able to lift up to 25lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Training cleaners on ServiceMaster’s standards, products, processes and procedures
• Cover call-offs and new accounts until staffed
• Oversees staff performance and ensures all assignments are completed in accordance to set task schedule
• Perform inspections and give constructive performance feedback to staff members
• Assign shifts and make necessary adjustment in case of call off or no shows
• Respond to customer complaints and request in a timely and caring manner
• Ensure compliance with safety and OSHA regulations
• Must be able to communicate in English. Bilingual is a plus
• Typical work window are 4:00pm – 10:00pm Tuesday – Saturday. Must be flexible in hours to cover call-offs and vacancies.

Job Position Description

Ancient City Janitorial LLC (ServiceMaster Clean) is looking for a motivated and dependable Janitorial Supervisor to lead our cleaning crews in Jacksonville, FL. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll help maintain the high standards our clients count on every day. Supervisor responsibilities include organizing employee shifts, training and motivating team members. This position plays a critical role in ensuring all staff stays on task and complete all assignments to ServiceMaster standards. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of cleaning principles and team management abilities. Work Schedule

This position is primarily an evening position, Tuesday through Saturday, with a typical scheduled work window of approximately 4pm-10pm and a minimum of 6 hours per day. This schedule requires flexibilty , as work hours vary based on business needs. Start and end times may be adjusted as needed due to employee call-outs, training, special projects, or other operational needs. For example, on a particular day, the supervisor may be asked to start later or stay later depending on coverage and business needs. Candidates should be comfortable with a flexible evening schedule and occasional extended hours when necessary.

Physical Demands and Qualifications

• Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25lbs.
• 3-5 years’ supervisory experience
• Will provide on the job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• The ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked job is a must.
• Coordination skills and multi-tasking is a must.
• Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Must be willing to clean to cover vacancies. This is a working supervisor position
