Scioto Services is seeking a Janitorial Supervisor for the Battle Creek, MI location (2nd shift). The role entails supervising evening cleaning teams, ensuring high sanitation standards, and training staff on cleaning processes and safety. The successful candidate will be able to lift up to 50 lbs and pass pre-employment checks.

The position requires English proficiency, a drug screen, background check, fingerprinting, and 18+ age. Weekend work may be required on occasion.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more of supervisor experience.

• A pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check, and fingerprinting are required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Maintain general cleanliness of assigned building

• Clearly and effectively communicate directions and expectations

• Complete nightly condition and quality inspections
• Organize and maintain the buildings closets and chemical program
• Performs other duties as assigned

Shift: Monday – Friday 5:00 PM-1:30 AM, with occasional weekends

Requirements

Job Duties

As you might expect, cleaning is at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, you’ll be:

• Maintain general cleanliness of assigned building
• Assist with training new and existing associates on general cleaning, equipment, and maintenance.
• Clearly and effectively communicate directions and expectations
• Promote a safe working environment
• Complete nightly condition and quality inspections
• Organize and maintain the buildings closets and chemical program.
• Performs other duties as assigned
