Job summary

Modern Maintenance, Inc. is hiring housekeepers in a professional setting in California. Wage starts at $24/hr with a $250 sign-on bonus after 4 months of perfect attendance.

Shift is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. This is a working position requiring cleaning responsibilities and physical work. Benefits include a complete package for full-time employees and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
• Professional and well-groomed appearance
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand/walk for the entirety of the shift

Responsibilities

• Supervision of on-site janitorial staff
• Resolving customer issues in a professional and timely manner
• Helping plan and prepare work schedules
• Promoting and maintaining a safe work environment
• Maintaining accurate records
• Working with Area Manager to ensure quality standards are met
• Other job duties as needed
• This is a working position. Cleaning required.
• Empty trash containers
• Clean bathrooms
• Vacuum all carpeted floors
• Dust, mop, and sweep hard floors
• Dust all horizontal surfaces high and low
• Remove fingerprints and marks from glass and stainless-steel surfaces
• Maintain the cleanliness of closets and storage areas
• Notify Area Manager of any problems
• Perform other janitorial duties as required
