Job summary

Summit Golf Brands is seeking a Facilities & Maintenance staff member to maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized facility. You will perform daily cleaning, trash removal, and floor care, with light equipment operation and supply upkeep.

Responsibilities include sanitizing spaces, operating scrubbers/pressure washers, restocking supplies, and reporting maintenance needs to the manager. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work standard day shifts in a manufacturing/warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices and common areas daily.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum and maintain floors in all facility areas.
• Operate floor scrubbers, buffers and light cleaning equipment; perform routine upkeep.
• Use a pressure washer for exterior surfaces and dock areas as needed.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recycling; manage dumpster/compactor upkeep.
• Restock supplies and monitor inventory; flag shortages to the manager.
• Replace light bulbs, tighten fixtures and report maintenance issues.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces on a regular rotation.
• Set up/break down rooms for meetings or visitors as requested.
• Follow safety protocols for chemicals and equipment; proper labeling/storage.
• Report facility damage or hazards promptly and keep equipment organized.

Job Summary:

Day shift, standard business hours

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas on a daily schedule.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout the facility, including production and warehouse areas.
• Operate floor scrubbers, buffers, and other light cleaning equipment; perform routine equipment cleaning and basic upkeep.
• Operate a pressure washer for exterior surfaces, dock areas, and other assigned spaces as needed.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recycling from all areas of the facility, and manage dumpster/compactor upkeep.
• Restock restroom, break room, and cleaning supplies; monitor inventory levels and flag shortages to the Facilities & Maintenance Manager.
• Perform minor upkeep tasks such as replacing light bulbs, tightening fixtures, and reporting maintenance issues that require a technician.
• Wipe down and disinfect high-touch surfaces (door handles, railings, switches) on a regular rotation.
• Set up and break down rooms or spaces for meetings, events, or visitors as requested.
• Follow all safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment, including proper labeling and storage.
• Report facility damage, safety hazards, or repair needs promptly to the Facilities & Maintenance Manager.
• Maintain janitorial closets, carts, and equipment in clean, organized, and ready-to-use condition.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to safely operate light cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and pressure washers.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and complete a daily task list with minimal supervision.
• Attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean, professional facility.
• Basic ability to identify and report facility or equipment issues.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs., stand and walk for extended periods, and perform repetitive bending, kneeling, and reaching.
• Comfortable working around production machinery, warehouse equipment, and varying facility conditions.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in janitorial, custodial, or facilities cleaning work preferred.
• Experience operating floor care equipment (scrubbers, buffers) and pressure washers is a plus.
• A reliable, team-first attitude and willingness to take direction from the Facilities & Maintenance Manager.
