Job summary

Crayola is seeking an overnight Facilities Custodian to perform waste removal, sanitation, and cleaning across Lehigh Valley facilities. The role supports continuous sanitizing, maintains safe walkways, and helps uphold Crayola's environmental sustainability efforts.

The shift is overnight (12:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.). Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED (preferred), good communication, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds; training on bloodborne pathogens is required.

• Ability to be flexible to work at other facilities or different shifts.
• Must successfully complete Blood Born Pathogen training.

Responsibilities

• Continuous sanitizing and disinfecting Crayola facilities including high-touch points.

• Clean and finish floor surfaces; wipe furniture and clean windows and equipment.
• Maintain safe walkways and assist with training on recycling and sustainability.

12:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Responsible for waste removal, recycling, and sanitation services for all Lehigh Valley Facilities.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Continuous sanitizing and disinfecting of all Crayola facilities; including high touch points, café tables/chairs, restrooms (showers, sinks/faucets, toilets, urinals, counters, mirrors, partitions and vents).
• Responsible for the removal of all waste from Crayola facilities
• Clean and finish all floor surfaces including dry/wet mopping, and vacuuming. Wipe down furniture, including walls and high dusting and accessible internal and external windows and office equipment.
• Responsible for maintaining safe walkways and paths during inclement weather.
• Must be flexible in order to train Crayola employees on the recycling and landfill free programs as needed and participate in team problem solving to maintain and enhance our environmental sustainability efforts.
• Complies with federal and state Hazardous Waste regulations including proper handling, storing, labeling, and familiarity with Crayola's Emergency Action Procedure in the event of a spill or leak

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to be flexible to work at other facilities or different shifts
• Ability to follow directions and complete assignments with minimal supervision.
• Must successfully complete Company Blood Born Pathogen training.
