Horizons Group Care is seeking a dependable Janitorial Staff Member to help keep our residential youth-care facility clean, sanitized, and well-maintained. You will play a critical role in ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include cleaning offices and common areas, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing bathrooms, and restocking supplies. A focus on reliability, confidentiality, and attention to detail is essential in this setting.

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitation practices.
• Ability to lift moderate weight and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in a youth-care environment.

Responsabilités

• Clean office areas and common spaces.
• Vacuum carpeted areas throughout the facility.
• Mop and maintain dining areas.
• Sanitize bathrooms including sinks, toilets, and urinals.
• Wipe desks, tables and work surfaces.
• Empty and dispose of trash from designated areas.
• Restock restroom supplies (toilet paper, soap, towels).
• Clean windows and glass surfaces.
• Dust furniture and surfaces.

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable Janitorial Staff Member to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for keeping our facility clean, sanitized, and well-maintained. This position plays a key role in ensuring the comfort and safety of everyone in our care.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning office areas and common spaces
• Vacuuming all carpeted areas throughout the facility
• Mopping and maintaining dining areas
• Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, and urinals
• Wiping down desks, tables, and work surfaces
• Emptying and disposing of trash from all designated areas
• Replenishing restroom supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels, etc.)
• Cleaning windows and glass surfaces
• Wiping down furniture and ensuring surfaces are dust-free
