Job summary

Es Vedra Cinemas seeks a Janitorial Lead to oversee the cleaning and maintenance across the venue and to supervise other janitorial teammates. You will ensure high standards of cleanliness in theaters, restrooms, and common areas while performing essential janitorial duties.

The role requires HS Diploma or GED, minimum 21 years old, strong verbal communication (bilingual preferred), and previous supervisory janitorial experience.

Qualifications

• Experience leading janitorial or cleaning teams.
• Strong focus on cleanliness and detail.
• Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Preference for bilingual candidates.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate janitorial team members in alignment with business needs.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Inspect work performed by janitorial team members and provide feedback to General Manager.
• Perform janitorial duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, removing debris, and cleaning all surfaces.
• Ensure cleanliness of all areas, including theaters, restrooms, guest and team member common spaces.
• Opening and closing the venue, including securing and unlocking doors.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks as needed and assigned.
• Sweep, mop and/or vacuum floors and carpets.
• Empty all trash and recycling receptacles at venue.
• Maintain cleanliness of each theater.
• Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors.
• Clean and dust all surfaces including counters, game machines, tables, bowl area, etc.
• Apply wax to coat floors, buff and apply sealant as needed.
• Clean and service all restrooms.
