Job summary

The Columbus Consolidated Government is hiring a janitorial worker to perform routine cleaning of facilities including restrooms, kitchens, and common areas, ensuring sanitary and welcoming spaces.

You will handle trash, laundry of dishes, equipment maintenance, and light maintenance tasks while following safety and quality standards in a busy setting.

• Empties trash containers, and sweeps parking lots and exterior walkways.
• Maintains inventory of all tools and supplies required to perform the duties of the position.
• Washes dishes, pots, and pans.
• Move boxes, furniture, and other miscellaneous items from one place to another.
• Changes light bulbs.
• Carries out a continuous effort to improve operations andwork processes; and works cooperatively and jointly to provide continuous improvement and customer-driven service.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
