JaniTech is seeking a dependable Ops Technician (Cleaner Floater) to support our day-to-day operations across multiple client sites in Colchester, VT. The position requires travel to various locations with a flexible schedule and evenings may be required.

A personal vehicle is preferred for this role. Responsibilities include cleaning, disinfection, and restocking facilities, with competitive hourly pay and benefits such as health and vision insurance, PTO, and 401(k) matching.

Responsibilities

• Travel to multiple client sites to provide coverage for call-offs, high-volume projects, or new locations.
• Sweep, Mop, and Vacuum floors.
• Dust, disinfect, and wipe down surfaces.
• Clean, disinfect, and restock restrooms.
• Safely utilize various cleaning chemicals and solutions.
• Empty trash bins and replace garbage liners.
• Lock up and set building alarms after completing your service.
• Other projects as assigned by the manager.

What You Will Be Doing

The JaniTech Ops Technician (Cleaner Floater) is a key player in our day-to-day operations. You will be traveling to multiple client sites, ensuring they receive timely and quality service. You need to be flexible, as your assignments may change daily – no two days will be the same! The ideal candidate is seeking a full-time evening position , has a flexible schedule , and has a personal vehicle .

Our Ops Technician positions help cover operations in Burlington , South Burlington , and St. Albans .

Ops Technician Responsibilities and Duties:

Ops Technician Requirements and Qualifications:

• Previous janitorial cleaning experience. (Preferred)
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle. (Required)
• Successfully pass a Background Check and Motor Vehicle Report.
• Working knowledge of various cleaning methods.
• Flexible availability, able to work weekends as needed.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• A positive, team-player mentality.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. – We Use E-Verify.
• Move or traverse through assigned work areas.
• Frequent reaching and lifting.
• Frequent bending, kneeling and squatting.
• Ability to handle a variety of cleaning materials/substances.
