Rock Global in Lititz, PA is seeking a Janitorial & Facilities Assistant to maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment across all company facilities. You will perform daily cleaning, restock supplies, and support light maintenance to keep common areas, offices, dining spaces, and restrooms guest-ready.

You’ll manage supplies within budget guidelines, assist with event setup and post-event cleanup, and help address safety and cleanliness issues throughout the day.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent and experience in custodial, facilities, hospitality, building services, or related support roles.
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning methods, products, equipment, and safe work practices.
• Experience managing supplies, placing orders, and working within budget guidelines preferred.
• Ability to perform basic facility maintenance, including replacing light bulbs and air filters.

Responsabilidades

• Clean, sanitize, and maintain offices, common areas, conference rooms, dining areas, restrooms, and other shared spaces through daily cleaning routines.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, remove trash and recycling, restock workplace supplies, and conduct regular facility walkthroughs to ensure spaces remain clean, organized, and employee-ready.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of outdoor areas, including entrances, sidewalks, patios, employee gathering spaces, outdoor trash receptacles, and smoking areas.
• Respond promptly to spills, cleanup requests, sanitation needs, and other facility-related service requests.
• Monitor the facility throughout the day and proactively address cleanliness, appearance, and safety concerns.

Description

The Role: The Janitorial & Facilities Assistant is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment across company facilities. Through daily cleaning routines, responsive support for cleanup requests, light facility maintenance, outdoor grounds upkeep, and management of cleaning and workplace supplies, this role helps ensure that common areas, offices, dining spaces, conference rooms, restrooms, and exterior areas remain welcoming, functional, and guest-ready. The position also supports the cleanliness and restoration of shared spaces before and after meetings and company events.

What You’ll Do:

Maintain Facility Cleanliness & Appearance

• Clean, sanitize, and maintain offices, common areas, conference rooms, dining areas, restrooms, and other shared spaces through daily cleaning routines.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, remove trash and recycling, restock workplace supplies, and conduct regular facility walkthroughs to ensure spaces remain clean, organized, and employee-ready.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of outdoor areas, including entrances, sidewalks, patios, employee gathering spaces, outdoor trash receptacles, and smoking areas.

Manage Supplies, Budget & Safety

• Maintain inventory and ordering of cleaning, and restroom supplies while ensuring storage areas remain organized.
• Track supply expenditures and manage spending within established budget guidelines.
• Follow safe handling procedures for cleaning products, equipment, and materials while identifying and reporting workplace hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and tools in safe, effective working condition.

Support Facilities Operations & Events

• Perform light maintenance , including replacing light bulbs,batteries, and other routine consumable items.
• Provide pre- and post-event cleaning support for meetings, trainings, and company events, ensuring spaces are clean, stocked, and restored following use.
• Assist facilities department with administrative, organizational, and customer service tasks as needed.

Requirements

What You Bring :

• High school diploma or equivalent and experience in custodial, facilities, hospitality, building services, or related support roles.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Work is performed throughout office, meeting, dining, restroom, storage, and outdoor facility environments.
• Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials throughout the workday.
• Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 40 pounds and occasionally use ladders, step stools, cleaning equipment, and basic maintenance tools.
• Requires safe handling of cleaning products, equipment, and materials, as well as the ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
