Job summary

HES Facilities Management is hiring a Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair janitorial warehouse equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role focuses on industrial cleaning machines and related warehouse equipment.

Key duties include repairing vacuums, auto-scrubbers and floor buffers; coordinating daily activities of warehouse staff; inspecting equipment and maintaining inventory records; and ensuring proper use of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Repairs vacuums, wet/dry vacuum machines, auto-scrubbers, and low-speed floor machines/buffers.
• Coordinates daily activities of workers engaged in receiving, shipping, loading, unloading, transporting, materials handling, order filling, and maintaining stock in a warehouse.
• Reviews shipping equipment and products to office throughout the country, and other areas.
• Oversees equipment in the warehouse, Maintain inventory records, and distribution of materials.
• Proficient in using hand tools and examines parts of defects.

Job Summary:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Repairs vacuums, wet/dry vacuum machines, auto- scrubbers, and low-speed floor machines/buffers.
• Coordinates daily activities of workers engaged in receiving, shipping, loading, unloading, transporting, materials handling, order filling, and maintaining stock in a warehouse.
• Reviews shipping equipment and products to office throughout the country, and other areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or vocational training preferred.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environment preferred.
• Clean driving record-No tickets, accidents within 3 years
• Proficient in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office.

Physical Requirements

Schedule and Availability

• May require flexible scheduling, including weekends, or on-call availability, depending on operational needs. May have to drive out- town to retrieve or deliver equipment.
