Job summary

ServiceMaster Restoration by Advanced is seeking second shift general custodians for our local accounts. We offer both part-time and full-time roles with flexible hours. You will perform cleaning tasks, maintain supplies, and assist with opening/locking facilities.

Positions require the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be flexible, and communicate in English. Paid training, a positive atmosphere, and opportunities for advancement are provided.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience as janitor, custodian, or housekeeper is a plus but not required
• Must be able to communicate in English
• Ability to be flexible, fast-paced, and multi-task

Position Description

We are seeking both part time and full time second shift general custodian applicants for our various local accounts. Hours and schedules can vary and there is flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform all cleaning duties using provided products, tools and procedures
• Duties include: sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, windows, cleaning and moving furniture and equipment, etc.
• Maintain inventory of supplies/equipment, including account keys
• Open/lock facilities, enable/disable security system as required
• 1-2 Years experience working as a janitor, custodian, or housekeeper for a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital or school is a plus, but not required
• The ability to be flexible, work at a fast pace, and multi-task is a must
• Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude and contribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable and on time
• Has respect and understanding for co-workers and customers
• Use proper PPE where required
• Must be able to communicate in English

Physical Demands and Qualifications

Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching over head, reaching forward. Must be able to lift and and/or carry 25lbs.
