Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring for a Janitorial Crew Member to perform cleaning duties across rooms, corridors, restrooms, and common areas. The job emphasizes following standard procedures, safety guidelines, and proper sanitation practices in a fast-paced environment.

Starting pay is $16.00 per hour with shifts available. Applicants should be able to stand and walk long hours, lift up to 49 pounds, and read safety instructions in English.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds.
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 10-12 hours.
• Able to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals (English; Spanish as state requires).
• Work well in a team and follow supervisor instructions.

Responsibilities

• Performs work according to standard procedure and building's operational schedule.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, and windows.
• Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors throughout the sales floor and seating area.
• Clean windows and mirrored surfaces; polish stainless steel surfaces.
• Dust fixtures, shelves, and products as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the customer and team member restrooms (includes cleaning and policing as needed).
• Complete sweep logs, as directed.
• Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner.
• Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
