Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services, LLC (KBS) is hiring a Janitorial Crew Member to join our fast-paced, growing team. You’ll perform cleaning tasks across rooms, restrooms, and workspaces, following established procedures and schedules.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 49 pounds, and standing for long periods. Training on safety and timekeeping via the KBSPresence app is provided. Starting pay is $15.00 per hour, with flexible shifts available.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds.
• Walk and move around the facility during shifts.
• Must stand and walk for up to 10–12 hours.
• Able to read and interpret safety rules and procedures in English.
• Use KBSPresence timekeeping app for clock-in/out and updates.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning of rooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and common areas per procedures.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and maintain cleanliness of sales floor and seating areas.
• Clean windows, stainless surfaces, and polished fixtures.
• Maintain restroom cleanliness and sanitation, per logs and safety rules.
• Operate and sanitize equipment safely and report any issues.
• Complete logs and follow supervisor directions; assist as needed.

Summary of duties:

• Performs work according to standard procedure and by building's operational schedule.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, and windows.
• Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors throughout the sales floor and seating area.
• Clean windows and mirrored surfaces; polish stainless steel surfaces.
• Dust fixtures, shelves, and products as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the customer and team member restrooms (includes cleaning and policing as needed).
• Complete sweep logs, as directed.
• Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner.
• Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager

Requirements for our Janitorial Crew Positions:

• Ability to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds
• Walking in and around the facility with great frequency throughout the entire shift
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 10-12 hours
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenanceinstructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals, sheets/documents (generally in English; may have in Spanish where state required)
• KBS utilizes the KBSPresence mobile timekeeping software for accurate recording of employee work hours, attendance management, completion of required training, and distribution of important employment-related information. All non-exempt employees are required to download and use the KBSPresence app on their personal mobile devices to clock in and out for their shifts and breaks. In accordance with applicable local laws, cell phone reimbursement is provided to support the use of personal devices for work-related tasks.
