Kellermeyer Bergensons Services, LLC is hiring a Janitorial Crew Member to join our fast-paced team in Michigan. This role offers early-morning shifts (6am–11am) with weekends and one weekday, providing an entry point to a growing company focused on reliable service and strong team culture.

Starting pay is $17.53 per hour, with duties including cleaning, floor care, and restroom maintenance. Employees use KBSPresence for timekeeping; cell-phone reimbursement is provided where allowed by law.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 49 pounds.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods (10–12 hours).
• Read and interpret safety rules and procedures in English (Spanish where required).

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning per standard procedures and building schedules.
• Clean rooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, and polish floors and windows; dust fixtures and shelves.
• Maintain restrooms and reporting needs per logs.
• Operate and sanitize equipment safely and correctly.
• Follow health, sanitation and safety procedures at all times.

Shifts Available:

6am to 11am

weekends and 1 week day

Summary of duties:

• Performs work according to standard procedure and by building's operational schedule.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, and windows.
• Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors throughout the sales floor and seating area.
• Clean windows and mirrored surfaces; polish stainless steel surfaces.
• Dust fixtures, shelves, and products as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the customer and team member restrooms (includes cleaning and policing as needed).
• Complete sweep logs, as directed.
• Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner.
• Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager

Requirements for our Janitorial Crew Positions:

• Ability to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds
• Walking in and around the facility with great frequency throughout the entire shift
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 10-12 hours
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenanceinstructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals, sheets/documents (generally in English; may have in Spanish where state required)
• KBS utilizes the KBSPresence mobile timekeeping software for accurate recording of employee work hours, attendance management, completion of required training, and distribution of important employment-related information. All non-exempt employees are required to download and use the KBSPresence app on their personal mobile devices to clock in and out for their shifts and breaks. In accordance with applicable local laws, cell phone reimbursement is provided to support the use of personal devices for work-related tasks.
