Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is seeking a Janitorial Crew Member for a fast-paced environment with growth opportunities. This role offers an evening shift and a chance to contribute to clean, welcoming spaces across client sites.

You will perform routine cleaning, follow safety procedures, and use the KBSPresence timekeeping app to clock in/out and manage attendance. Lifting up to 49 pounds and standing 10–12 hours are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds.
• Must be able to stand and walk for 10–12 hours.
• Read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions (English; Spanish where required).
• KBSPresence app is used for clocking in/out and training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform work according to standard procedures and building schedules.
• Clean rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, and windows.
• Sweep, remove debris, and mop floors throughout the sales floor and seating areas.
• Clean windows and polished surfaces; maintain cleanliness of fixtures and shelves.
• Dust fixtures, shelves, and products.
• Maintain cleanliness of customer and team member restrooms; perform related duties.
• Complete logs as directed and operate/sanitize equipment safely.
• Follow health and sanitation procedures and safe work practices.
• Assist supervisor or manager with other duties as assigned.

Starting Pay: $14.0 per hour

Summary Of Duties

• Performs work according to standard procedure and by building's operational schedule.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, and windows.
• Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors throughout the sales floor and seating area.
• Clean windows and mirrored surfaces; polish stainless steel surfaces.
• Dust fixtures, shelves, and products as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the customer and team member restrooms (includes cleaning and policing as needed).
• Complete sweep logs, as directed.
• Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner.
• Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager

Requirements For Our Janitorial Crew Positions

• Ability to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds
• Walking in and around the facility with great frequency throughout the entire shift
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 10-12 hours
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals, sheets/documents (generally in English; may have in Spanish where state required)
• KBS utilizes the KBSPresence mobile timekeeping software for accurate recording of employee work hours, attendance management, completion of required training, and distribution of important employment-related information. All non-exempt employees are required to download and use the KBSPresence app on their personal mobile devices to clock in and out for their shifts and breaks. In accordance with applicable local laws, cell phone reimbursement is provided to support the use of personal devices for work-related tasks.
