Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring a Janitorial Crew Member to perform cleaning across rooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas. The role requires scrupulous attention to sanitation, safe operation of equipment, and adherence to work schedules.

This position offers early-morning shifts and opportunities to be part of a growing facility services team in the United States. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour with a schedule that includes mornings and varied days.

Qualifications

• Able to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds.
• Must stand and walk for 10–12 hours.
• Able to read and interpret safety rules and procedures in English.

Responsibilities

• Clean rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, and windows.
• Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors throughout areas.
• Clean windows and polished surfaces; wipe dust from fixtures and shelves.
• Maintain restroom cleanliness and monitor supplies.
• Complete sweep logs and operate/sanitize equipment safely.
• Follow health, sanitation procedures and safe work practices.

Days off will vary.Summary of duties:Performs work according to standard procedure and by building's operational schedule.Cleans rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, and windows.Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors throughout the sales floor and seating area.Clean windows and mirrored surfaces; polish stainless steel surfaces.Dust fixtures, shelves, and products as needed.Maintain the cleanliness of the customer and team member restrooms (includes cleaning and policing as needed).Complete sweep logs, as directed.Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner.Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or managerRequirements for our Janitorial Crew Positions:Ability to lift and move totes up to 49 poundsWalking in and around the facility with great frequency throughout the entire shiftMust be able to stand and walk for up to 10-12 hoursAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals, sheets/documents (generally in English; may have in Spanish where state required)KBS utilizes the KBSPresence mobile timekeeping software for accurate recording of employee work hours, attendance management, completion of required training, and distribution of important employment-related information.
