Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring a Janitorial Crew Member in Arnold, MO. Shifts run 5:00 am to 10:00 am, 5–6 days per week, with some days off varying.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour, with responsibilities including cleaning offices, restrooms, floors, windows, and common areas, following safety procedures and building schedules. Responsibilities include using KBSPresence for timekeeping, lifting up to 49 pounds, and standing 10–12 hours per shift.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift/move totes up to 49 pounds.
• Walking in and around the facility frequently during shift.
• Able to stand and walk for 10–12 hours per shift.
• Able to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and chemical safety notes (English; Spanish as required by state).
• KBS uses the KBSPresence mobile timekeeping app for clocking in/out and attendance.

Responsibilities

• Perform work according to building procedures and schedule.
• Clean rooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, stairways, and windows.
• Sweep, mop, and remove debris across the facility.
• Clean and polish surfaces including mirrors and stainless steel.
• Dust fixtures and shelves; maintain restroom cleanliness.
• Complete shift logs and operate equipment safely.
• Follow health, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Shifts Available:

5:00 am to 10:00 am

5-6 days per week. Days off vary.

Summary of duties:

• Performs work according to standard procedure and by building's operational schedule.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, and windows.
• Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors throughout the sales floor and seating area.
• Clean windows and mirrored surfaces; polish stainless steel surfaces.
• Dust fixtures, shelves, and products as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the customer and team member restrooms (includes cleaning and policing as needed).
• Complete sweep logs, as directed.
• Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner.
• Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager

Requirements for our Janitorial Crew Positions:

• Ability to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds
• Walking in and around the facility with great frequency throughout the entire shift
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 10-12 hours
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenanceinstructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals, sheets/documents (generally in English; may have in Spanish where state required)
• KBS utilizes the KBSPresence mobile timekeeping software for accurate recording of employee work hours, attendance management, completion of required training, and distribution of important employment-related information. All non-exempt employees are required to download and use the KBSPresence app on their personal mobile devices to clock in and out for their shifts and breaks. In accordance with applicable local laws, cell phone reimbursement is provided to support the use of personal devices for work-related tasks.
