Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring a Janitorial Crew Lead in Olathe, KS for a full-time role.

You will supervise cleaning crews, coordinate daily tasks, provide client‑facing support, and ensure safety, training, and policy adherence across shifts.

Starting pay is $16.25 per hour with a 4:00am–10:00am shift window; KBS offers benefits for eligible staff and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial operations and distribution center environment preferred.
• 1-3 years in a Lead/Supervisory role.
• Ability to read safety rules and maintenance instructions in English.
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines and forklift instructions.
• Customer service oriented with ability to motivate the team.
• Familiarity with KBSPresence for timekeeping and communications.

Responsibilities

• The Crew Lead performs site Crew tasks and ensures tasks are fully executed at site.
• Interact with the client to provide professional and prompt customer service as needed.
• Provide direction and task coordination for assigned Crew.
• Ensure Crew members understand and are knowledgeable of their responsibilities under each policy.
• Assist Supervisor or Zone Manager with new hires and training.
• Motivate the crew and lead by example; support team success.
